Freezing and a buzzing noise
Hello. I apologise if this isn’t the right comm to post this in, but I’m kinda desperate.
Ever since my brother changed his OS to Windows 7, we’ve been unable to properly start WoW. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with this change, but basically:
1. You log in
2. No problems choosing which character to log into
3. The character walks around and everything is normal for about 20secs
4. After about 20secs, everything freezes (not even alt+F4 etc. work/s)
5. At the same time, a horribly shrill buzzing noise starts emanating from the speakers (pretty sure it’s from the speakers)
6. FFFFFFFUUUUUUU
We’ve uninstalled and then re-installed everything WoW related, and also ran the WoW repair tool thing, but nothing has helped.
If anyone has had this happen to them, what did you do to fix it?
Do you guys think it’s to do with Windows 7 or something to do with the new patch? He’s not here for me to check this, but he said that it could have something to do with 64bit something something. /helpful
On my Linux computer, everything is still fine.
